With wool or wool fleece, friction often causes pilling. But what is that exactly?
Pilling is the formation of knots on the surface of textiles. This is not a quality defect, but on the contrary a quality feature. Natural materials (in comparison to most chemically obtained fabrics) have fibers of different lengths, which means that individual short threads can become loose due to friction with other surfaces and small knots then form. This is pilling! You may have noticed this on one of your own wool sweaters or coats. If pilling bothers you, certain tools like lint rasers, lint combs or lint rollers can help. Or even a lint brush, like the Wunderbürste from Leistner.

Care instructions:
- Clean the Wunderbürste® ORIGINAL regularly with a comb or a hairbrush with longer pins.
- At long intervals the brush can be washed with lukewarm soapy water. Afterwards, please shake it out vigorously and place it on the bristle side to dry so that the water can drip off. However, this may cause the paint on the front side to peel off. This is normal and not a reason for complaint.
