What's that lovely thing dangling from the ceiling? Our rattan lampshade by Ferm Living is woven by hand and is a real eye-catcher in your living space. It creates a cosy, modern atmosphere in the children's room and also withstands every pillow fight. The shade lets small rays of light through its irregular structure, while the hole on the underside emits a wide beam of light downwards.
Tip: Rattan is considered one of the most sustainable materials for furniture construction. The plant, which comes from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, is made bendable under steam and is used in the production of furniture, baskets, toys, but also lamps. In the 60s, the material was very fashionable and is currently being rediscovered by many Scandinavian designers. Our rattan products by Ferm Living are of course from fair production and give your home a cosy, contemporary Scandi chic!
