These soft house slippers are incredibly snug and made from completely natural leather. The leather is tanned using purely plant-based methods and, unlike leather from mass production, contains no heavy metals (such as chromium). Therefore, the shoes can be worn on the skin without any concerns. Additionally, the leather is tested for skin compatibility by the "European Foundation for Allergy Research" and is therefore suitable for allergy sufferers.

The cowhides are sustainably tanned in a unique tannery in Germany. Plants such as oak, rhubarb root, pods of the tara tree, and valonea are used for tanning. The gentle dyeing process avoids the use of heavy metals. The leather is dyed with synthetic dyes to ensure that the colors remain stable in the leather. Each newly developed shade is tested in advance for its skin and environmental compatibility.

No more sweating

Leather is generally sealed by global tanneries with a thin layer of plastic (polyurethane) on the surface to protect it from the weather. This coating prevents the leather from allowing foot moisture to escape, which is why people sweat in conventional "leather shoes." Our leather remains naturally open-pored as it is not coated on the surface. Thus, your child's feet stay dry even after long and wild running around.
