The story of La Case de Cousin Paul sounds almost like something out of a film. A man and a woman from Paris work in a media department stores' to pay their rent. One day they meet and fall in love. One evening, when they are drinking cocktails, they have the common wish to travel around the world. They save up for the world trip for two years.
When they return from the trip, they want to leave the media shop behind and start anew with their colourful balls of light. Unfortunately, the bank doesn't really play along, but with the help of an elderly lady, they are able to open their own little shop in Montmartre in 2005. In the meantime, their little son Paul was born, whose name is also in the brand name. Many years and collections later, La Case de Cousin Paul has become much bigger, but one thing has remained the same: the love for the high-quality coloured light balls.
