A Story a Day

We think it's even better than "an apple a day": at least one good story a day. And best of all, reading aloud is an integral part of the evening ritual! Stories stimulate the imagination, children hear phrases and new words in context. And they even memorize some favorite stories and can then tell the story themselves while looking at the book - long before they can read.

We only have favorite books

Our books are hand-picked, each of which we encourage you to read: they are favorites of our children, favorites of Mrs. Klein and Mr. Klein when we were little ourselves - and not just called that. And, of course, new treasures that we have discovered in recent years. We look very carefully to see if they are really good stories, well told and well written - we, Beate and Stephan Klein, were advertising copywriters in our former lives and are therefore very critical. And we really like good illustrations - after all, good picture books sometimes get by without words.

Our customers love our stories

When we talk to our visitors in our stores, we often get great compliments about our small but fine book department. But the best thing is just to browse for yourself. And feel free to write us if your favorite story is still missing in our assortment!
